How would you describe your music now?Maurice will be homebase next week so watch out for him and remember to cope his album Misubbaawa from a store near you or alternative buy online from his page on CD BABY
It's what I call "Mwooyo" (soul) – a mix of Ugandan traditional vocal tonation, with spices of Jazz, R N B, Folk, hip hop, acoustic and comes from the soul.
Is there any one musician who's influenced you the most?
I grew up listening to so many musicians since my family had different taste, but my biggest influence from my country was "Philly Bongoley Lutaaya" [legendary Ugandan musician who passed away in 1989]- The Spinner
