Maurice Kirya - Misubbaawa (Album track list x Video)

For those of you who have not yet copped Maurice's Misubbaawa Album, its already in stores and remember to pass by your local music store to claim your copy. The track list for the album whose title refers to Candles in the English language is here  below:

The homie is still in US ever since performing at the Hilton Garden Inn in Austin, Texas, USA as part of this year's SXSW. Check out his video below for the Misubbaawa track. Video directed by Solomon Jjagwe, the director for Ggaliwango.

 How would you describe your music now?
It's what I call "Mwooyo" (soul) – a mix of Ugandan traditional vocal tonation, with spices of Jazz, R N B, Folk, hip hop, acoustic and comes from the soul.
Is there any one musician who's influenced you the most?
I grew up listening to so many musicians since my family had different taste, but my biggest influence from my country was "Philly Bongoley Lutaaya" [legendary Ugandan musician who passed away in 1989]- The Spinner
