Bavububuka Community Hip hop Appreciation Saturday (30 October 2010)


The hip hop appreciation Saturday is a Bavubuka Community organized event to celebrate the accomplishments and achievements of HIP HOP in Uganda.

In these times where we are witnessing the cause and effect of the Luga Flow Movement (Indigenous hip hop), This event is designed to educate and strengthen the hip hop Voice among the youth and their communities. Recognizing their power this platform is created to build a solid network of like minds to celebrate the beautiful visions of empowerment, health, advocacy,Peace Building and entrepreneurship in the indigenous truth of hip hop culture.

We will be sharing Videos and short documentaries about the progression of hip hop as a tool for social change in Uganda and other hip hop movements around the world..

We invite all our fellow Artists, Emcees, Fans, Poets, B boys/B girls, DJ's, Hip Hop Fashion Designers, hip hop producers, Music industry Executives and friends of the movement to come and share there stories about hip hop in Uganda.

Be apart of preserving your history and laying a strong foundation for hip hop in Uganda to grow beyond the boarders by coming out to share your knowledge and truth in a community that celebrates what you represent.
