2012 was a breakout year for Serge Severe. He gained national recognition after being featured in Red Bull's "On The Come Up" column and as a guest on the world famous Halftime Radio Show in NYC. While in New York, Serge also performed with Lord Finesse in Brooklyn and was featured on an episode of Spittin' In Da Whip. Additionally, Severe released the two EP's- Silver Novelist & Service Without A Smile. After a busy past year, 2013 promises to be an even larger stepping stone for the talented Serge Severe.
"It's Like That" is the first song of 2013 from Severe. This time around he has linked with up and coming Hip Hop producer 5th Sequence for the EP Boom Bap & Bars Vol. 1 available April 16th. The EP is a combination of 5th's jazzy hard-hitting production and Severe's razor tongue.
